River Island introduces premiumised store concept ‘River Studios’
River Studio’s new 11,000 sq. ft interior in Derby steers away from the typical white box retail approach, taking cues from the eccentricity and curation of boutique stores. It presents a quirky mix of old and new, where natural materials mix with recycled and distressed furnishing and juxtapose with digital content to convey a domestic and yet fresh look and feel.
Taking on board the creative design concept, Planet 360 were asked to manufacture elements of the new mid floor & VM Equipment across the store. We’ve been a trusted supply partner to River Island for over 30 years, so we’ve certainly seen some changes to the store design. It’s always exciting to be involved in new concepts and continuing our working relationship with such a much-loved high street brand as River Island.
